It’s Hydrangea Time!

Summer brings with it the special fragrances of roses– and Hydrangeas! My favorites are just beginning their show, and will continue till well into winter with flowers gradually evolving from palest pink to lavender to blue. Papery flowers stay till next year, gradually turning to paper and drying to the prettiest dried flower display you will ever see.
These shrubs make fantastic bonsai, with reliable flowering each summer and prolific blooms. Stop in to our next open garden event in late July to enjoy the selection.
