Various heat tolerant trees for an all climate forest.

Modoc Cypress is the most tolerant of conifers with regard to both hot and cold environs. It grows in the moutains of the Mexican desert, and has the ability to withstand both extremes of temperature. Forest will do well in temperatures from 105’F to 20 degrees. These trees were found at Keeping It Green Nursery in Washington, a haven of unusual trees and plants from far away places, and one of our area’s best plantsmen! This forest stands about two feet tall, five trees of varied species, complemented in a handthrown dish made by Portland potter Jan Edwards. Seven years old.  $300 plus shipping.
