Save the dates! Bonsai Akira Nursery looks forward to again hosting visitors! Our abbreviated schedule has included two dates earlier this year that received no publicity from our beloved garden club, so–                            We will be welcoming visitors on two weekends in the Fall season to showcase an entirely new collection of finished bonsai in dramatic and unique stylings with new pottery from America’s foremost bonsai ceramists. All work creating these wonderful specimens has been carried out by owner/artist Lucy Davenport (that’s me!)–many hard to find cultivars and rare shrubs in their finery… Japanese Maples, conifers, Hydrangeas, a few choice Satsuki azaleas, Lorapetalum, Viburnum– are just a few of the varieties available.
