This wonderful quince is “Toyo Nishiki” — the extraordinary cultivar that features red, pink and white blooms on one plant. It has been on display at several of my shows, and now resides permanently at this address…. so I’m waiting patiently (not…) to see what colors emerge this year. I’ve featured it in it’s white petticoats before, but look forward to sharing the variety of colors that is possible. Brought it in about two weeks ago to give time for buds to swell unaffected by our heavy ice and snow laden days. I’ll keep you posted….
