A Tree Finds itself Home— Time to Give Thanks

An artist’s dream is for the artistic gift to be fully realized— the resulting creation to be seen and loved into newness by the eyes of someone for whom the presence of the artwork brings ongoing delight. This is not easily achieved— the road from the artist’s hand to the collector and lover of fine artwork is often many years long. This tree has seen all the seasons— ice and snow followed by summer drought and near death, winter storms and summer heat, gentle fall rains and unexpected springtime bliss…. So it is with a full heart that I report on the sale of this special bonsai to an appreciative new owner, after years of steady care and refinement.
