Picea Glauca— Alberta Spruce

Out of stock

This specimen has been with me for over five years, gradually gaining in stature and fullness. Soft vivid green needles and grey fissured bark make a presence to contemplate— shining in the dappled light of the Pacific Northwest spring. Already mature at twenty years old, this slow growing conifer just gets better with the passing years. A mainstay of the boreal forest, it is familiar to campers and hikers in the Canadian Rockies, with its soft touchable foliage on majestic evergreens. Pottery by local artist Tony Hackenbruck. SOLD
