This specimen is approaching ten years, just getting started on her bonsai life, and offered in a splendid pottery bowl in gold and black tones from a major American bonsai ceramicist, Wendy Fox. Her name refers to the leaves, stacked like stone tile shingles on a Japanese temple of olden days.
