Larix kaempheri— Japanese Larch

A twin trunk version of a classic, grown from seed. Twelve years old. A fine example of this lovely species—a favorite for bonsai. Deciduous conifer with fine soft foliage that ages to pale gold before winter’s onset leaves bare branches against the sky…  Spring foliage emerges a vivid fresh green in fan shaped “packets.” A magnificent “petal” pot in hand built stoneware by Michigan artist Theresa Wooden completes the design.
