Ficus retusa— repotting for John

Housecall to examine roots of this forty year old Ficus and remove surface soil to alleviate infestation of parasites. Washed roots and pot with owner’s help, disinfected pottery container and replaced all soil with pumice, Boon mix and gravel topdressing. Paid in full— with thanks, Lucy.
NB— next repotting in five years unless problems persist. Watering with ginger tea can alleviate this kind of infestation.
