This lovely lady was a slightly too tall and gangly teenager whose roots were exposed, making her unsightly— till the “root over rock” style was attempted, with satisfactory outcome. Now she is in her element as a swan, loving her graceful movements. Delicate foliage and soft proportions give her a lifelong poise— enhanced by a new slightly high profile vintage container by expert ceramicist Larry Bruning of Bruning studios, in Snohomish Washington. Larry’s containers have become collectible so this is a once only opportunity to enjoy his fine hand, as he is no longer producing his own bonsai ceramics.
