Before I head north to Seattle for a couple more summer art shows, I’ll be hosting my next Open Studio–
Visitors are welcome on Saturday, July 27th and Sunday, July 28th, to the open air studio and bonsai display garden.
Then, a one day sale at the Portland Buddhist Temple, SE 36th and Powell Blvd, for the annual Obon Festival–August 3rd.
Next up– “Fresh Paint– Artists At Work”– August 17th and 18th. a juried event sponsored by the Schack Art Center, Everett, Washington.
Then the final of my summer shows– Bellevue Botanic Garden hosts forty five garden artists at its annual fundraiser, the weekend before Labor Day. Visit the large botanic garden with its beautiful plantings and theme gardens, featuring a walking Japanese Garden, and many other seasonal delights. While there, peruse the quality handmade art for sale. Each artist is selected by a jury for unique and exceptional garden or botanical themed creations– and I am the first Bonsai artist to be hosted, for my fourth year.
In September you’ll find me at the annual Bonsai Society of Portland “Jamboree”– a day filled with bonsai — from presentations to the annual auction, to a large sampling of vendors– it’s a “Don’t miss! Celebration! Saturday, Sept 14th, at Kellogg Center, on S.E. Kellogg Drive in Milwaukie.
