The greenest green in the forest…

Here’s an Ohio Buckeye I’ve been working with for over two years. I just finished the first styling, with wiring and leaf reduction to give it a graceful profile.This was a “found tree”– and it turns out to be a red-flowering cultivar from North Carolina. I can’t wait to see it in the woods of the Appalachian mountains, but perhaps I’ll get to see this one in flower! Pottery container is by Jan Edwards of Portland. NOT FOR SALE
